Please could you share this email of my thanks with Ramesh, Mohammed and Rajesh. Both Mohammed and Rajesh were very knowledgeable and informative on their respective tours, polite and kind. Ramesh was an excellent driver and guide, as well as having good knowledge. He and I had very interesting conversations whilst driving from one place to another.

I am ever grateful to Ramesh for his thoughtfulness and kindness in ensuring I had cash money during my visit, when the banks were so busy with the black money issue. He did this without my even asking, I found it so trusting and thoughtful towards a stranger, who may not have returned his money. He sure is an asset to your company. At the same time, I would like to thank you for allowing me to pay back Ramesh's money through the company, when I was unable to find any cash. It is very much appreciated.

I have just sent a review of my trip to TripAdvisor, all positive. I mentioned your company and encouraged future visitors to book through you. I will also be giving your details to any friends and family who wish to travel to India in the future.

Good morning Shailendra from a very cold and damp England,

We arrived back from our Indian tour last night and I just wanted to drop you an email thanking you for everything that you organised. We had an excellent time and thoroughly enjoyed out trip to India.

All the guides without exception were very knowledgeable and full of enthusiasm about their subject. The first guide in Delhi was very good, he went along at a pace that suited us and his 'customer service' in as much as he made sure we were happy was also very good. We had a very good 1/2 day with him. We struggled a little bit with his English (his accent) but it wasn't a problem.

The guide who took us round the Taj Mahal in Agra was fantastic. He made sure that he looked after us and made us feel that we were the important ones. In Agra we only went to the Taj Mahal but that was fine with us as we didn't want to be rushed. He took a lot of photos for us using our camera phone and they are fantastic and have given us some great memories. As a guide he was the best we had during our visit by some way and I can't recommend him enough. He did take us to one of those 'touristy' places where they try and sell you marble items to take home but there wasn't much pressure so that was fine.

Your driver - I don't know what I can say about him really other to say he was fantastic, he looked after us far more than we had the right to expect and we left with really good memories of him. He was extremely courteous to us both (which was really important) he drove calmly and we were always very relaxed in the car. He also sorted out any money problems. He was always on time and waiting for us. He really was a lovely guy. One of the things my wife felt very difficult during our trip, and this may be an India culture thing, was that I was treated better and with more courtesy than her, it wasn't everybody but certainly quite a few. The driver wasn't like that with her and he treated her very well. Before he forgets us would you please pass on our thanks to him.

Hotels:

The Lalit, New Delhi - This was a typical 5 star business city hotel and we were really happy with it. It was pretty much what you would expect really for this type of hotel. You were certainly right in recommending it.

The Jaypee Palace Agra - Although we only spent one night this really is a lovely hotel. We only ate their one evening and quite honestly that was a nightmare and we did complain to the managers and will certainly be doing a right up on Tripadvisor. However there is no taking away that it was a lovely hotel.

All in all we had a great holiday, thank you for organising everything including the internal flights.

I know you didn't book it but just out of interest the Taj Exotica Goa is fantastic. Not the best hotel we have been to but it is right up there with the best and we would certainly recomend that one.

We had a very comfortable and educational tour. All the tour guides - Mr. Sharma in Delhi, Mr. Chaurasia in Agra, Mr. Sharma in Fatehpur and Mr. Rajesh in Jaipur - were excellent. We learned so much and they were also very accommodating, given we traveled with older parents. Our special thanks to your driver Mr. Sohan Singh who made the rides very smooth stopping along the way as needed and talking to us about the local culture as we drove from Delhi to Agra to Jaipur.

The entire process of booking, making changes to reservations, special requests (e.g., wheel chair) was so well accommodated by your company. In addition, each of the tour guides not only presented us with details on the monuments but also talked to us about the local cities and guided us to good restaurants. As promised i am sending you an email :-) The rest of our trip was excellent, we left Delhi and spent two relaxing days in Kathmandu, then visited some friends in Mumbai. The heat there was very intense but a great city to explore. Finally we had three relaxing days at the Lalit resort Goa. Our tour with Mohd Irfan was excellent. He was a great guide, very helpful and always with a smile on his face. We both very much enjoyed his company. The itinerary was also perfectly layed out for us. Of course the days were very very full but thats what we wanted and it seems we saw everything there is to see in the golden triangle! The hotels were also of a consistently high standard and all recommended restaurants were excellent. The guides you provided for us were also friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We especially liked the Agra and Jaipur guides, special praise for them. We will both be returning to India in the future and we will not hesitate to use your excellent services, especially if we can have Mohd as our driver again :-)

Finally I have a different question for you. On Sunday on the flight back to London I met up, purely by chance, with an old work colleague who had been in India on sales business. He commented on the cost of staying at some of the hotels. The question is whether or not you would be interested in providing a hotel booking service for the company including airport transfers. The service would have to cover all India not just Delhi. I am assuming you can book hotels like the Lalit or Taj palace, for example, at better rates than those obtainable from the UK. If you are interested let me know and I will then pass on your details to the company.

You hit it on the nail when you say our trip to India was memorable. We had a great time.

We will recommend your services based on the relatively cheap price of your tour package as well as Irfan, our driver who was outstanding. The hotel in Delhi however, did not live up to the standards we expected, primarily the service in the reception which we felt was somewhat arrogant at times. Furthermore the 'hotel driver' that we got one evening via the hotel was very poor as he, besides driving like crazy in general, even drove into another car on purpose. That may be fine/normail in India to do and that's ok, but not when he has two tourist in the car.

The guide during the Delhi sightseeing was good but the driver was not.

Thank you so much for such a fabulous tour. There was 9 of us in our group and from the very start we had a great experience, with the great transport provided and the friendly drivers (garna and Hira). We all loved the hotel in Jaipur (hotel glitz) it was a fabulous place and the staff couldnt have been friendlier. All of the tours were well received too but on some occasions we felt that a tour guide was not necessary. The hotel in Agra was lovely too but unfortunately not all of the rooms had been finished after the renovation and so tv's were not installed properly, and one of the rooms was very dusty but it didnt hinder our stay as everything else about it was great. We really enjoyed the little stops at the marble shop, silver jewelry place and the fabric printing place. Nice touches. And the final hotel in delhi, again very nice but unfortunately the service in the restaurant wasnt the best. Other than that everything was perfect.

We will all be recommending your business to friends etc

My family and I especially wanted to thank Golden Triangle Tour for making our trip a success.

We were very pleased with the behavior of your staff upon arrival in Delhi.

Our driver, Irfan, was also very nice to us, although we wished he would've been more of a tour guide in giving us more information about the sights - he seemed less talkative. Nonetheless, he was very helpful to us and made our trip and sightseeing pleasant.

We, however, wished we got a chance to meet you, Shailendra in person. After having to talk to you so often prior to our trip and you being so helpful, we wanted to personally thank you for all your help and support in organizing this trip for us.

Our hotels in Delhi, the Singh Sons, and in Jaipur, Mandawa Haveli were commendable and much more then we expected. We enjoyed our stay on these properties. However, we were less satisfied with the hotel in Agra as it didn't seem upto par in comparison with Delhi and Jaipur's hotel properties. This is something we strongly recommend for a change for future travel packages to Agra.

It is no doubt that with such a rewarding experience to be able to see the hidden treasures in Delhi, Agra and Jaipur that we have been talking about our trip to our friends and family, both in India and the USA. We have mentioned Golden Triangle Tour india and would definitely recommend this to anyone we know!

Hello Vijay,

I'm Tracy, Marian's daughter, who also went on the trip to India with Golden Triangle Tours. We went on the tour including New Delhi-Agra-Jaipur-Pushkar-Udaipur-New Delhi (Itinerary pasted below). The trip was absolutely fantastic. Our driver was called Raja and I would definitely request him. He was extremely safe, helpful, and nice. He helped us to arrange for excellent English speaking guides at certain sights where they were useful. The car was a basic car with an enclosed trunk. Raja took extremely good care of the car and it was always extremely clean. The hotels were nice, although did not have heat. Some of them had portable space heaters if you asked. Cleanliness was not a problem in the hotels at all. The hotels in Agra and New Delhi were quite basic compared to the rest, but fine for economy standards. Shailendra was extremely helpful in reworking the itinerary to work within the time frame we had. This required an overnight train from Udaipur to Delhi, which was much nicer than we expected and quite comfortable. My biggest recommendation would be to be extremely careful about where you eat and absolutely do not drink the water. I hope you have a wonderful trip.

Enjoyed our tour of the Golden Triangle and Amritsar very much and it was most interesting. We should have had more time for visiting your country.

The hotels at Agra and Amritsar were very good. The Hotel Florence in Delhi was good but the Metro Heights and hotel in Jaipur were not so good.

Mr Kumar is a very good driver and went out of his way to help. The other drivers were equally good. Mr Gupta was not so good, a little bit mad.

The guide at Agra was very good.

The guide at Jaipur was excellent and gave excellent commentary both at the Amber Palace and the observatory. A very good and friendly man.

The little down sides did not spoil what was an excellent holiday. I would have no problem recommending your company.

Thank you for your email and apologies for not getting back to you earlier.

We truly enjoyed our tour of the Golden Triangle and as I had already informed you I have already passe very good comments to my friends locally. The staff were very good and also the places we visited. The only thing we werent very happy with was the taxi driver taking us to the airport as we didnt feel very safe with him. I would not recommend him but as for the other drivers, it was always a pleasant drive around.

A special thank you goes to our driver who was with us throughout the week as driving for long hours can be very tiring but we would like to Thank him personally as well.

As regards to the hotels, these were also very good. As you know we booked one of the hotels ourselves however all the hotels which were booked by yourselevs were also very good, clean and also with good food. Thank you very much in this respect as well.

Once again a very big thank you and well done!
